Privacy Policy – Google API integration

Last updated: 8 October 2026

This policy covers the Google API integration "Misquoters" (Google Cloud project "AI workspace"), an internal tool operated by Joakim Fridlund, owner of Misquoters and a freelance digital marketing consultant based in Sweden. It is separate from the store privacy policy. Contact: jocke.digital@gmail.com.

What the tool is

The tool is used only by Joakim Fridlund to manage marketing accounts that clients have given him access to. It is not offered to the public and has no other users.

What data it accesses

When signed in with Google, the tool can access, within the accounts the user has authorised:

  • Google Ads: campaigns, keywords, reports and the Keyword Planner.
  • Google Analytics, Search Console, Tag Manager and Merchant Center: configuration and reports.
  • Google Drive and Sheets: files shared with the user for client work.
  • Gmail: reading client email threads and creating drafts. The tool never sends email on its own.

How data is used

Data is used only to carry out marketing work for the client who owns the account: reporting, analysis and managing campaigns. It is not sold, not shared with third parties for their own purposes, not used for advertising, and not used to train general AI models.

Storage and security

OAuth tokens are stored on the tool's private server (Cloudflare) and are used only to make requests on the user's behalf. Data read from Google services is not stored permanently beyond what the work requires.

Google API Services User Data Policy

The tool's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Revoking access

Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To have data deleted, email jocke.digital@gmail.com.
