Terms of Service – Misquoters

1. Who we are
This website and store are operated by Misquoters (“we”, “us”, “our”). When we say “Services” we mean this website, our online store, and anything related we use to sell you misquoted ideas on physical objects.

2. Using the site
By accessing or using the Services, placing an order, or creating an account, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy and Return & Refund Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site (we’ll try not to take it personally).

You agree not to:

  • Use the site for any illegal or fraudulent purpose.
  • Try to interfere with or hack the site or our payment systems.
  • Copy, redistribute or exploit the site content or products in a way that violates our or others’ intellectual property rights.

3. Orders, pricing & payment

  • All prices are shown in the currency indicated at checkout and may change without prior notice.
  • An order is considered accepted once payment is processed and you receive an order confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel any order (for example, in case of obvious pricing errors, suspected fraud, or stock/production issues).
  • Payment is processed by our third-party payment providers. By submitting payment details you confirm you are authorised to use that method.

4. Made-to-order products
Each product is made specifically for you once you order. Details on returns, replacements, and size issues are set out in our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

5. Intellectual property
All content on the Services – including designs, graphics, text, logos and product images – is owned by Misquoters or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not use, reproduce, modify, or distribute our content or products for commercial purposes without our prior written permission (yes, even if your cousin “knows a guy with a print shop”).

6. Third-party services
We use third-party providers such as Shopify and payment processors to operate the store. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for any third-party websites or services we link to.

7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Services or products, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services or products will not exceed the amount you paid for the order in question. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws.

8. Changes to the Services and these Terms
We may update the Services, our products, prices and these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alicante (Spain), unless local mandatory law gives you another forum.
