Misquoters – Return & Refund Policy

Short version
- Every item is made especially for you when you order – we don’t keep stock in a warehouse.
- Because each item is produced on demand, we don’t accept change-of-mind returns.
- If your order arrives damaged, misprinted or incorrect, we’ll fix it: replacement or refund.
- If you ordered the wrong size, we feel you. We offer a size exchange for the same design in a different size.
- Email us within 7 days of delivery and we’ll set it up.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer, and we cover shipping for the replacement.
- Each item can be exchanged once for another size of the same design, as long as it’s only been tried on and comes back clean, unwashed, and undamaged.
- For any issue, contact us at knockknock@misquoters.com. We usually reply faster, but please allow up to 2 business days.
The longer, more serious version is below.
1. Made-to-order products
All Misquoters products (t-shirts, hoodies, posters, mugs, and friends) are made to order.
When you place an order, our production partner prints your specific design and ships it directly to you.
That means:
- We don’t hold inventory or have a returns warehouse.
- Returned items can’t go back “on the shelf” for resale.
- For hygiene and quality reasons, worn or tried-on garments aren’t resold.
- When we do receive returns (for example, during a size exchange), we donate eligible returned items to charity instead.
When returns happen (for example, during a size exchange), we aim to redirect eligible items to donation where possible, instead of sending them back into circulation. So please double-check the size chart—it's the best way to get it right the first time.
2. Returns & refunds for damaged / incorrect items
We will repair replace or refund your order if:
- The product arrives damaged,
- The print is clearly defective, or
- You receive the wrong item, size or color compared to what you ordered.
What to do
- Email us at knockknock@misquoters.com within 14 days of the delivery date.
- Include:

- Your order number,
- A brief description of the issue, and
- Clear photos of the product and the problem (print, damage, wrong item, etc.).
- Once we’ve reviewed the case, we’ll let you know if we’re sending:

- A replacement (most common), or
- A refund to your original method of payment.
We may not be able to help with claims made after the 14-day window, except where required by law.
Please do not send any items back without contacting us first. Unauthorised returns can’t be processed.
3. Size issues & change-of-mind
We know online sizing can be tricky, even with size charts. To keep things honest:
- We do not accept returns or exchanges for:
- Change of mind
- “I like it, I just prefer another design/color”
- Change of mind
However, we want you wearing the quote, not leaving it in a drawer.
If you ordered the wrong size:
- Email us at knockknock@misquoters.com within 7 days of receiving your order.
- We’ll set up a size exchange for the same product style and design (just a different size).
- Return shipping is paid by you, and we cover shipping for the replacement.
Details of the size exchange
- Valid only for the same product style and design (size change only).
- One exchange per order.
- Item must be unworn and unwashed (try-on is fine).
- We ship the replacement once you send the return and share the tracking number.
We do not accept returns or offer exchanges for switching to a different design or product.
4. Lost, delayed or undelivered packages
If your tracking shows your package as delivered but you haven’t received it:
- Please first check with:
- Household members or neighbors
- Your local post office / carrier
- If the package still hasn’t turned up after a few days, contact us at knockknock@misquoters.com.
If a package is lost in transit (never marked as delivered), we will work with our production partner and the carrier. If the package is confirmed lost by the carrier or our production partner, we’ll send a replacement at no extra cost.
We’re not able to refund or replace orders when:
- An incorrect or incomplete shipping address was provided at checkout, or
- The carrier returns the parcel as unclaimed / refused.
In those cases, we can reship the order to a corrected address once we receive it back, but you’ll need to cover the new shipping cost.
5. Order changes and cancellations
Because products go into production quickly:
- Orders can usually only be changed or cancelled within a very short time window after purchase.
- If you need to change or cancel, email knockknock@misquoters.com immediately with your order number.
- If production has already started, we’re normally unable to modify or cancel the order.
6. Non-refundable items
Unless they arrive damaged or defective, the following are non-refundable:

7. How refunds are processed
If we approve a refund:
- It will be issued to your original payment method.
- Banks and card issuers can take 5–10 business days (sometimes more) to post the refund to your account.
- We’ll email you when the refund has been initiated on our side.
